Practice Building 101

Practice building cover
A while back I decided to create a resource with no barriers to entry (Yes! It’s still free!) that could help all of us out there in the wellness world to thrive in our practices. Nearly a year ago, when the first version of this ebook was being born, the stock market and housing market were crashing hard and people were running around saying things like, “Credit crisis! The next Great Depression!”, and “The sky is falling!” It sounds pretty much the same these days. I know how hard it is to get a practice rolling, and I just didn’t want to see more practitioners close their doors while everyone was running around like their heads were on fire.

And soPractice Building 101: Your I-Don’t-Have-To-Feel-Like-An-Icky-Car-Salesman-Guide to Growing a Thriving Wellness Practice was born. It’s not a fluff thing that wastes your time with some hidden slick sales pitch on every page. It’s just great info. Plus it’s free- and in this case “free” doesn’t mean “useless crap”. Honest.

For those of you who are still pondering taking the full Practice Abundance Course , this ebook will give you some solid stuff to work with in the meantime.

Who it’s for

Deep breath. Here comes the list: Acupuncturists, massage therapists, Feldenkrais teachers, Rolfing and other SI practitioners, yoga teachers, Naturopaths, Pilates teachers, movement educators, therapists, life coaches, energy healers, Gyrotonic teachers, homeopaths, nutritionists… yowza! I could go on for days- there are so many of us doing work that furthers the cause of helping people to lead healthy, vibrant lives. If you’re one of these people, and you’re either starting a private practice from scratch, or trying to fan the embers of your current practice- this is for you.

What You’ll Learn

• How totally miserable and hopeless I was at all this stuff my first three years in practice.

• How to grow your practice in a way that’s a natural extension of your personality and strengths. This isn’t one size fits all.

• How to become a wellness rockstar in your local community.

• How to use all the juicy tools that the online world has to offer.

• How to use all the juicy tools that the tangible world has to offer.

• How to keep on keeping on and make progress even when the dreaded procrastination virus takes hold.

Who it’s not for

• People who want to find more information about growing additional income streams outside of their private practice (but stay tuned, I have something marinating).

• People who aren’t in private practice or who want information on how to find a job.

• People who are trying to figure out all the legal and financial stuff you need to do to set up your practice- this guide is strictly about how to grow your practice, not the framework stuff.

Did you like it? Find it helpful? Then I have two quick requests:

If you’ve read or used Practice Building 101 you can help your fellow wellness providers (and me) out in a couple of ways:

  • Spread the word: If you want to help out your fellow wellness providers (think of all the people in the world who need our work! We need more of us thriving out there!) you can spread this ebook all over the world. Spread it far and wide. Go ahead- it’s free right?
  • Get it on your school’s reading list: You can also talk to your school and let them know that this is a free resource that they can provide to their students. Take pity on the soon to be grads and lend them a helping hand!
